"Hantaran off from the colour scheme"
Kenapa moi said so? Its because initially the engagement theme colour scheme is pink-yellow-peach.
Like a summer engagement kononnya.
Its been a tradition for our family to not splurge and hire people to do the hantaran.
And to moi taste, of course la nak fresh flower hantaran kan?
So the plan is, 1 week before the engagement both of us head to Floristika, Bangsar to check-out the flower range price and place order to be pick-up a day before the engagement.
Kalau duduk klang valley setakat ni yang moi tau jual bunga with cheaper price untuk beli borong (sedozen and above) ada 2 je:
1) Floristika, Bangsar
2) Petaling Street
Selalunya if any of the family member graduate, my sis akan head to Petaling Street but baru2 ni kata nya dah naik harga.
If Floristika, contohnya bunga ros ada macam2 pilihan. Boleh pilih nak yang import or local. If import, tak silap selalu ade 2 pilihan. You can choose bunga imported from China or India. From India, the roses are not wrapped individually and the size slightly kecik dari yang China. If our local, they take from Cameron obviously. Yang local size similar to the China one except if you plan to pick up on Friday like moi, you may get the old flower instead of the new one sebab local punya restock is on Saturday.
In my case, bila dah diskus2 and tanya2 the worker (mostly bangla) they said to be safe order from China one sebab akan delivered selalunya hari Rabu. Jadinya colour pon terpaksa ikut availability. We choose pink and yellow roses (sadly peach no stock) with pink and yellow carnation (yang ni moi ambik local sahaja) with some un-known green flower buds.
Who is the hantaran vendor? super talented cousin yang every wedding pon we'll put them in charge. Kata orang ade 'touch' gitu. So...presenting my shabby yet lovely hantaran for the engagement..

Short review on the macarons: Initially sepatutnya nak order with other vendor, but the full sebab lambat order so just try my luck and email ke sms Smooch owner. She said she full because that saturday Smooch will open booth at TTDI, so I said takpelah since you dah penuh tetapi Alhamdulillah syukur, baiknya hati owner Smooch nak jugak accept my last minute order. She delivered (with charges) to moi's house malam jumaat tu. The macarons sangat sedap, my families love it sebab tak penah rasa and the best thing is Smooch macarons is the most affordable ones.
Berapa bintang nak bagi? 4.5 out of 5 stars :)

Landmark yang paling senang. Floristika berdepan dengan bangunan NST bangsar. You can use Jalan Maarof and turn left before Maybank cawangan bangsar. The nearest LRT station is Putra LRT Bangsar (kena ambik cab ke Floristika)
