Introducing my MUA during the engagement;
Considering makeup is one of my daily favourite, (ask my friends, they knew hehe) I always wanted a simple and no heavy makeup for my engagement/wedding.
To suits my budget, I had to google around MUA that offer affordable package and meet the requirement. The best things when you always done your research in advance is that you can compare all the package that you've requested plus discuss with your other half/family.
Since I know my other half have zero knowledge about makeup, I look for my sister instead. As usual, I narrowed the options to these 3:
And I must say I really had hard time to choose any one of them.
All 3 MUAs provide the best rate (trust me!) and their PR is really good. The moment I asked for quotation, they get back to me less than 1 day (in which I like).
After discussing and browsing thru their gallery, my sister and I decided on..
On that day, Amal arrived on time and she managed to find my super difficult home LOL. We started right away and once I told her the look that I want which is smookey eyes and almost nude lips (but still take forever to decide coz I'm being greedy suddenly haha)
Based on what I remember Amal told me she only use MAC, Benefit and of course Sephora products (another plus one!). She's super nice and friendly haha considering my 2 BFF keep asking what was she using all the time haha (kidding guys xxx)

Since I'm so satisfied with the outcome (family, friends and him also love it) so might as well I'm booking Amal for my wedding right?

Engagement Review: Photographer - muazmohamed pictures
Engagement Review #1: Official Photographer.
One of the thing listed on the checklist after we decide the date is choosing the photographer.
Been browsing and drowned myself in the wedding pictures from tons of photographer portfolio makes me know how I wanted the pictures to be (haha I think!)
One of the major criteria is:
- I want the pictures to turn out fine or rather good without extensive editing.
- I love candid moments a lot! Which means I like the pictures can tell stories itself.
- Lastly I wanted something that have this 60's feeling onto it but this is optional since I only want 'shoot and burn' package (why? you can say I'm so cheapskate I rather edit it and send it to printing by myself haha)
I search high and low to match this criteria and mostly the budget that I have (small budget remember?)
One of the first OP that I've contact as I remember is:
and I keep telling myself jgn la cheapskate sgt. if their quote price more or less within the budget, accept je. (*Note: I only manage to asked for their quotation 2 weeks before the engagement)
while waiting for them to reply my qoutation (kinda malu jugak asking for shoot-and-burn as they seems to be well known OP for bride to be nowadays but who cares kalau tak tanya sampai bila tak tau kan?) - I did ask my fellow friend called Muaz from muazmohamed pictures if he's free on the 3rd to be my OP. Yada..yada..yada we discuss everything and he agreed to be my official photographer yeay!!
Oh from my OP list, only Faridism Photography was free on my date wherelse Nik and Hafiz (yeah I call by their first name :P) were fully booked. Sadly I have to tell them I got myself an OP already. Sorry Farid.
p/s: PR all of them sangat-sangat bagus.
Honestly to Muaz, thank you for being the last minute OP and both of us + the family clan SUPER LOVE your photos. Hopefully boleh deal again during wedding day itself.

p/p/s: muazmohamed pictures are having promotion for 2012 wedding events. Berbaloi-baloi I told you even my family love him coz he's creative like that ;)
So you don't have to worry about tak reti posing whatnot coz he'll be the director, tinggal berlakon je hehe

the appropriate expression of my friends when they saw our engagement photos at my facebook wall.
hehe I don't blame them coz we've been hooked together like forever :P
since pre-degree around 2004 until now, its been 7+ ups and downs years for us.
2011 marks a new beginning as we decide to take the relationship further and heading towards creating a new masjid InsyaAllah :)

His family and mine gathered for a small celebration and discussion you may say, I'm now officially his fiancee. Alhamdulillah.
